May be this collection of converters helps.

All converters are for Windows. Most of these tools are command line tools.
Why command line? If you have a whole bunch of files which all must be treated in the same way it is often easier to use a command line tool, then open every file, convert it, save it in a Windows tool. There are not many Windows converters that allow multiple selections. Here is a wildcard expander for programs which cannot expand wildcards by themselves (knows no long filenames, if I find time I wright a new one).

SMARTVID

Codec independent, bi-directional video file converter.
Converts between the Microsoft Video for Windows AVI format and the Apple QuickTime MOV format.

Attention: SmartVid was designed to convert a file regardless of the video codec used to compress the image. It simply copies the data streams without attempting to decompress the images. As a result, some of the video files may not play on the target platform if the video codec is not supported on that platform.

QTReader.vfp

This is a plugin QuickTime reader for the TMPGEnc mpeg encoder. You just copy this file into TMPGEnc's folder and you should then be able to read any QuickTime movie.

MOV2AVI.exe

CDEX (converter / audio grabber)

CDex is a freeware application, which is able to extract audio tracks from a CD-ROM digitally, and save those files to disk as either regular WAV file or MP3 files. Why use CDex? Well CDex can extract the data directly from an Audio CD, which is generally called an Audio CD Ripper or a CDDA utility. Of course you can do that also by recording through your sound-card However, recording by sampling the signal with your sound card implies that the signal first has to be converted to an analog signal by the CD-ROM, which is fed into the sound-card and digitized by the sound-card. In practically all situation the quality of the recording will be deteriorated (unless you have a CD-ROM that has a digital output of course). CDex on the other hand, is reading the digital audio data directly from the disc, which can be stored in either a WAV file or a MPEG (MP2 or MP3) sound file.
